Helping carers cope…

What can help carers?

Hypnotherapy helps carers cope by focusing exclusively on THEIR needs. Often carers are focused on the needs of the person they support, and ignore their own. It’s no wonder that many carers struggle with anger. They get angry because they’re drained and not getting what they need emotionally. This results in hating themselves for being short tempered. Carers have to give constantly, without enough time for themselves to re-charge but therapy can really help with that.

  • Therapy gives the carer a chance to be heard and really listened to, without judgement.
  • Therapy enables the carer to focus on their own needs.
  • I work with carers to reduce their current stress levels.
  • Reducing stress means improving their quality of life and peace of mind.
  • Trance is highly relaxing as well as healing.
  • Therapy is a space where carers can open up safely and release things which may have been bubbling up inside.
  • Therapy with me is an empowering experience, focused on increasing calmness and confidence.

Just an hour a week of positive, solution focused therapy, can enable carers to cope, rather than just struggling through. When we feel happier and better about ourselves, we function better. When we understand our intrinsic value as a person we better about ourselves.
