I’m Julie Escott, Clinical Hypnotherapist, and I understand your issues are highly personal to you. It’s very important to find safe and effective help you can rely on. I help people to live calmer, happier and healthier lives as soon as possible, providing a safe space for people to heal and grow. My comprehensive bespoke approach combines the latest neuroscience with hypnotherapy, NLP, CBT and Solution Focused Therapy. This gives a truly holistic, personalised experience with excellent results relatively quickly.
Hypnotherapy helps with a wide range of issues, and gets you back on top of things. It enables you to use your mind positively to help you – rather than sabotage you with doubts, fear, worry and self criticism. I have extensive experience of supporting people through change and enjoy working with adults, young people and children, as well as people with addictions, autism , dementia and carers.
I practice in St Austell at Enterprise House, and via video-links and phone, in the UK and internationally. Flexible evening and weekend appointments are available.

What is trance or hypnosis like?
We are all familiar with trance and go in and out of it naturally many times each day when driving or watching tv. It’s that state when you are drifting off to sleep or daydreaming – perfectly natural. You remain fully conscious and in complete control throughout. During trance the brain processes information which results in increased focus, concentration and self-awareness after sessions. Trance work helps rewire your brain to make the positive changes you want.
What happens in the first hypnotherapy session?
The first session really starts the whole process of change. We talk about what you want to gain from sessions and I get a little background information. Then I explain simply how the brain works and how I’ll help you get back on top of things. People usually start making progress immediately, from the very first session. The trance work starts in the second session and the future sessions are all split between talking and trance work. Full commitment is important for success and you must want to make the changes you seek.

COST: Sessions are £60 and last 45-55 minutes. Children and young people’s sessions maybe shorter. Quit smoking sessions are a one-off session lasting up to 2 hours and cost £140.
PAYMENT; either in advance or on the day of your session – via BACS (bank transfer), or cash.
