Breakthrough for Grief sufferers

People often feel that they are stuck trying to manage their grief alone, naturally waiting for the pain to pass. But hypnotherapy and psychotherapy can help with grief. It lightens the huge devastating sadness so it’s a more manageable feeling. Grief doesn’t disappear but it becomes easier. This is turn enables the person to enjoy more positive memories of their passed loved one.

Julie has helped me for a number of years with hypnotherapy sessions. Recently a very dear and loved friend of mine died and the pain and grief I felt was intense. Every time I thought about my friend I felt like I’d just heard the news and it was like a knife stabbing me.

The session was initially very painful, like all counselling, but by the finish, the edge of the pain really felt like it had lessened. As the days followed I found myself going back to what Julie told me during the session and it has made such a difference.

I am still grieving, of course, but the stabbing has lessened. I can now talk about my friend without crumpling into tears. I feel like I’ve got over the massive shock of my friend dying and I can move forward so that the grief isn’t ruling my life. Julie’s calm voice and positive influence was a fantastic help to me at an incredibly painful time and I am very grateful.

I really want to work with children and young people who have been seriously affected by grief. It can change the whole course of a young persons life when they lose a parent or someone close to them in childhood. Children just haven’t developed the resilience to cope with that level of pain and change, and it’s so important for them to get the right help to heal. If you would like to lessen the pain of your loss, or know someone who needs to, please do contact me. Often very few sessions are needed for a very significant improvement, which can be life changing.
